How else could a known failure at almost every task except divisive politics leadership like he is make the millions he does?

They are particularly against any programs that benefit the taxpaying working people (whom they think are stoopid) as they do not pay taxes or pay so little that it would make their fundie backers' heads spin.

And all they know about the Constitution is what they heard Limpbaugh/BecKKK spout yesterday (as most of them have never even read it, thus they have no idea about anything after more than a day's time away from the crap media).

Yep. They are the party of the slogan "I've stolen mine - Now get out of my way, peasants!"

I agree with you, of course, about workers' rights not meaning a hill of Raygun's jelly beans, but I think the issue is what is now termed "third-hand smoke" which has been found detrimental to those forced to breathe it (argue with the research as you like), and therefore a public health issue.

It's one place that the rights of the many trump the rights of the few.

But like I said, it will madden many.

Thanks for commenting!

Love ya,

SCirzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07070125217972397204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3397167328061019765.post-47342008109282482832011-02-11T18:20:20.597-05:002011-02-11T18:20:20.597-05:00Paul Ryan, with his Reagan-style, "me too&quo...Paul Ryan, with his Reagan-style, "me too" haircut, is a cold-hearted phony who has forgotten where he came from, specifically that it was Social Security which helped enable his widowed mother to send him to college. Now, of course, after reading welfare queen Ayn Rand's pathetic book, he claims to be a hardcore conservative who has seen the light. He and Rand Paul are clueless when it comes to the needs of average working people, and both favor more tax cuts for the rich. Now how fiscally responsible is THAT? Give me a break!

And for all the constitutional experts the GOP suddenly has, it would be interesting to see their take on how workers' rights are being violated in this latest hospital action. Nobody likes a stinky smoker, but to deny them employment just on the basis of their smoking habits, WITHOUT REGARD TO THEIR ABILITY TO PERFORM THE JOB, is an invasion of their privacy and an outrage that ranks up there with automatic drug testing for employees not involved with safety equipment or the handling of narcotics! GRRRR! The way corporate America now infringes on workers' rights just makes my blood boil!Jack Jodellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02165430903903838990noreply@blogger.com
